BfSV 1.0 Preview
Hi there,
here is a small preview of the upcoming version 1.0 of BfSV:
Improved code
Old, cluttered code has been replaced by efficient, oop compliant data structures to gain a better code clearness and a higher flexibility in adding new features. By refreshing the main part of the code basis, memory leaks were fixed and memory usage was reduced by 25%. Furthermore all pictures are now being stored in an external image library and will only be loaded if they are needed. That not only reduces the size of BfSV.exe to approx. 800kb, it also cuts the traffic costs and makes quick updates possible. Now you don’t have to download a complete installer package, you only need to download the file which is out of date.
New charts
With version 1.0 you can visualize your stats with charts. It’s also possible to export your charts as image files.
Extended leaderboard and high scores
The player maximum of 10 has been increased to 20.

BfSV 1.00 will likely be released at the beginning of January 09 (with a probability of ~80%). All work is done so far, but I’m currently not at home so I can’t publish the new version at the moment. There is also the possibility that 1.00 is going public between Christmas and New Year (with a probability of ~20%). This however depends on my still undetermined plans for New Year’s Eve.

i just love the game and the bfsv is a great program to check your stats i question is is possible to get is checking stats on a private server example aix2 mod server with private stats
ho guy it has been a long time without any news. I hope that your project is still going on and the release date is coming soon :p
This project ist still alive, however there are some problems with Vista and the updater.
Atm I’m short on time, so unfortunately you’ve got to wait a bit longer…
great viewer for the next battlefield game bf2 is going down the tubes. someone with skills needs to help out punkbuster ummmmmm like 2 years ago. dont abandoned this great project, its turned out very useful and this site will explode with people as soon v.1.0 arrives LOL
