Topic: [Tutorial] Creating a translation

Usually making a translation for BfSV should be very simple:

Step 1:

Make a copy of the English language file (english.xml in the lng folder) and rename it as you like it.

Step 2:

Use english.xml as a template and translate the word/sentence between "" to your favored language.

Important:
[uli]Be sure that your translated word/sentence is not too long, otherwise display errors can occur.[/uli]
[uli]Dont't delete any blank spaces within the " characters.[/uli]

Step 3:

Check regularly if your translation fits to the context by loading your file into the BfSV.

Step 4:

If you've finished off your translation, feel free to sign your language file with your (nick)name and your homepage.

<LLa_autor Caption="phreazer" URL="http://bfsv.movedesign.de/" />

And finally add the creation date to your file in the following date format:

<La_langdate Caption="DD.MM.YY" />

This date is very important for the automatic languagefile updater.

Step 5:

Send your language file to me by mail or upload it somewhere and send the download link to me.

You'll be honoured for your work in the credits of BfSV.

The topic of the next tutorial will be: "How to update your language file on the easiest way".
